My story
I'm a piano technician based in Western Washington, working from Seattle and Bellevue up to Everett. I’ve been tuning and maintaining pianos for the past three years, starting out as an apprentice and quickly becoming a technician at Stage 7 Pianos under Kenn Wildes.
Most people come to me for tuning, and I’m always happy to help bring a piano back into shape. Alongside that, I also do regulation work which can make a big difference in how the instrument responds, especially for more serious players. It’s a skill not every tuner offers, and something I’ve spent a lot of time developing.
My history
Before getting into piano work, I spent most of my time making music. I’m a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, drums, trombone, and trumpet) and I studied composition at Cornish College of the Arts, where I had the chance to learn from Jovino Santos Neto. Alongside my solo work, I’ve played in several local Seattle bands and have been teaching music for the past eight years. That hands-on musical experience shapes the way I approach piano work today. I know how it feels to have an immersive, effortless, musical experience and that’s what I strive for while working on any instrument.
